A Mermaid Tale

She'd been a long way from home for a while.. As she neared the lit rooms of her world she wondered how much had changed. The crisp lights and the glowing world below, so many things that she had always wanted to know. When she thought back on what forced her to drift away she almost turned back but then she felt the sheer heartbreaking home-sickness fill her and she longed to return.
