Following the butterfly
Down the broken path
I looked to the left and right
Trying to do the math
The softly dimming light
Warned dusk would turn to night
Still the bubbling brook spoke over
And I was drawn into the world to see
I examined the soft clover
To sit and silently be
For time is an illusion
One more impossibility
And we must seek conclusion
In our hearts, to truly ever see
And when the illusion breaks
And we realize the truth
No more do we feed mistakes
Because we have our proof

The butterfly in this card represents the outer, that which is constantly moving and that which is not real but an illusion. Behind the butterfly is the face of consciousness looking inward toward that which is eternal. The space between the two eyes has opened, revealing the lotus of spiritual unfoldedness and the rising sun of awareness. Through the rising of the inner sun, meditation is born.
