You're a brilliant social butterfly
The mind behind the lie
But still away you shy
Unable to meet my eye

I see right through you
Disconcerting though, so true
Always aware of all you do
Your holding back.. too

Afraid again to meet my gaze
Hiding in a troubled haze
Change the way you look.. A phase
Pretending? Always.

When will you grow out of this?
Pretentious.. Foolishness
Hiding back behind.. Ignorant bliss?
As the sands of time hiss..

You've lost my respect again
Your situation has no win
And still you bring up back then
As if you can erase that sin..

It's as hopeless as can be
Yet you'll claim that you're happy
As you run through the maze you can barely see
Unable to ever truly be free

And I look into those eyes
See the dark silent cries
Hear even more of your white lies
Realizing.. You're still so unwise
